Every single MT out there feels the same way; some have left, retired, found other work outside of MT or put up with the abusive treatment and low pay. Most MTs now have been around forever; the amount of years you have been a MT doesn't matter, not to these companies. They just want a body who will work for pennies.
I do it for supplement and have a PT job 2 days a week. I am retired and like you I hate this job, but I endure and do it when I feel like it. If I can get 10,000 lines in two weeks, I feel that is a lot. I usually average around 8000, but again this is my choice. I only work when I want to and don't even get me started on VDI.
If you continue to do this, you have to accept it and don't let it get to you. You have had enough health problems for 4 people, don't let this job add to that.
