Not All MT is Down the Tubes - Yet - MTROSE

Well, not a ton of $$ to be made as in the past, but there is still work. Why not consider applying with with MT services that have more family & specialty practice or clinic work. That may be an easier way to break in without acute care experience. And you don't need to volunteer. Some will take you as a "newbie." Your 35 years in any area of MT work is your asset. You just have to hunt around. Look at some of the old job posts in Job Seekers Board here to get an idea of what MT services were looking for in the past. Contact them even if there's no job ad, let them know what you're looking for. It can't hurt. Best wishes to you in your great endeavor.
