"Lost" my job because of COVID. Never worked for Free. Did the work to the best of my ability and made it to the top of the pay scale. If my hard work and dedication (and love) for the job makes you believe I am part of the reason we are not valued, you have no real work ethic. I go (went) to work with 100% integrity, knowing that I was doing my best, not passing the buck to the next guy. I suppose you also dumped jobs you didn't like, too. Real Nice. difference between you and me... I loved my work, you apparently don't. Nuf said
