You know, that jogs my memory to a problem I had long ago when I was still employed as an MT. It seems that I was having problems understanding one dictator every time. I complained to someone--- don't remember who, but they got er done and fixed the problem!!! Seems the hyperbaric chamber nearby was affecting the sound quality. Can't remember the exact scenario. Maybe the dictation spot was getting some interference from that--- can't remember exactly what. But, anyway, the problem was on their end and THEY FIXED IT!!!! And they apologized profusely too! You should not have to put up with high pitched squealing and hissing! Maybe they do have a problem with the way the dictation is set up, perhaps with wiring or something. They should not have to be such prima donnas. I would do some inquiries and get this fixed!
