the poor audio for me also. I can't wear anything over or in my ears because of the high piercing "s" sounds certain dictators make through their teeth when they speak. No amount of adjusting the tone helps and turning down the volume only helps a little, but then I have to crane my neck to get closer to the speakers to hear and end up with awful neck pain! But definitely, I have noticed my hearing doesn't seem to be what it once was, probably damaged from so many times I've been caught off guard by the piercing sounds.
