I am using the term MTSO for Medical Transcription Service Organization, not on site companies - sm

and the comparison just being what an MTSO made off of a transcriptionist who was making 9, 10 or more a line compared to now. Sorry, I just wasn't sure what the MTSO to transcription pay because on site jobs are so rare these days means. The comparison to an on site job was just the hourly pay wasn't as much for some transcriptionists who could make more per line with an MTSO being paid pennies on the line.
