That was an example that's all. The comparison just meaning that years ago if the MTSO was making 5 or 6 cents off the transcriptionist, now with the decrease in pay (although I have no idea how much the MTSO has had to decrease), the very low pay of 3 to 4 for the transcriptionist, may mean the MTSO is now making even more off the transcriptionist than before. I never had the pleasure of working for a hospital with any incentives, just the hourly pay and PTO, insurance benefits, etc.
