Absolutely best case scenario, 3 hours. The best dictator, clear, articulate, no gum chewing, yelling at the dog, eating lunch. I am assuming this is medical
Unfortunately, that is rarely the case. If you have never transcribed this dictator before, you don't know their rhythm. In truth, it could be someone who mumbles, stumbles, changes their mind and has only been in this country for a year. The content could be out of your wheelhouse and you could be looking things up every other line. In that case, it could well take you 5 or 6 hours. The reality is somewhere in the middle.
