Misrepresentation and mismanagement.
Truth, I believe the irony here is that if the healthcare industry, i.e., hospitals, clinics, etc., had fully recognized from the very beginning the true value of what their MTs brought to the table and not have allowed anything to disrupt that working relationship, the payoff would have been so much greater today for everyone on so many different levels. MTSOs would never have come into existence to undermine the industry and VR would never have been allowed to crowd the profession with its added distraction and dubious accuracy.
It has been very discouraging and sad to see the downturn of MT.
