I never put my address or phone number, just the city and state I live in and my employment history, which I keep to a minimum as well.
If they are interested and contact me then I can give them that information, but never up front.
There are just so many scams out there and I never click on links either for fear of a virus, which has happened twice to me.
Sorry you had such a bad experience, but try to keep your personal information at bay, until you learn more about the job. That's a good idea about the burner phone though, never thought about that.
