It's really that simple. The managers and supervisors up on their high horse are basically the ones who decide penalty pay cuts for our errors and whether we actually keep our job or not. They're the ones who scold and humiliate us and write us up for a comma out of place, but their emails are full of errors and that's okay. We don't dare correct them or we likely get told to go work somewhere else if we don't like it.

This person referred to in the original post went to school supposedly to get a degree in medical records management? And they can't even spell HIPAA correctly? This would be a critical error if we made it in a document.

I thought people were supposed to be able to vent freely on this board without criticism from other people who are supposed to understand because all of us go through the same thing.

What else is pathetic and embarrassing is those of you scolding and degrading the OP have likely thought this very thing to yourselves many times.

That's a crying shame.
