Once you determine what state to file in and do get a judgement in your favor, you do not walk out of the courtroom with your money. You have to then hire someone to track her down to get it.
Think of the Goldman family getting a judgement in their favor regarding Orenthal Simpson. They were awarded money but then had to hire lawyers to seize his assets. They have received very little of what was awarded to them. The same with us.
