Several airlines, hotel chains, insurance - W/C Reviewer

companies, car rental and retailers including Amazon (as well as HSN) have remote workers. Retail and travel should be gearing up for the holidays soon, so it's a good time to look. I'd check the company websites directly rather than going through any of the "mommy" websites--you're right about the scams. Indeed.com and Flexjobs.com might also have some listings.

I also interviewed for a stylist job at Stitchfix last year. If you live in one of the cities they hire in, that might be an option.

I found my current local job on craigslist, and only go to the office nearby for a couple of hours each week. I've found several jobs on craigslist in recent years, one of which is remote. Check them--they also have national listings even if you're not near a larger city, as well as remote jobs. Keep us posted.
