You are correct...Cancer Registry - Is a career

I was outsourced from 30 years in an at home hospital position. Took me 3 months of torture ( went with the outsource, big mistake...I had worked for all the big outsources PT, but never tried to live off them, other than my first at 0.12 a line in 1990!). Went to Cancer Registry at $3 an hour less. I am now making more than I was at my steady hospital MT job...and there is more to come. I WISH I had gone sooner and had not wasted so many years in MT.

On average, $23 an hour, I would say, once certified, and steady incremental climb from there. Some FT W2 outsource jobs at $30. A little less on average.

CERTIFICATION required for the big money, but not bad $$ as noncertified with intent and progress toward certified. CoC facilities must have CTRs within 3 years. NCRA webpage...not court reporters, cancer, lol. There is a FB page also. Ads galore and other info.
