After working for KS for many years, I finally got fed up of their endless BS and left in the spring of 2014 and started working as an IC, which is what I've been doing ever since. Granted, I do have to pay my own taxes, which isn't exactly ideal, but I got used to it and I make excellent money. I do straight typing on a large acute care hospital account and am paid very well by the audio minute, so I do pretty well and I have total flexibility of my schedule. I also am ALWAYS paid on time, sometimes even a day early. I never have to deal with any payroll BS like I did at KS. There IS life after KS!
