The account is Canadian. Lots to learn. It is paying VBC line rates. When asking off you are asked when you will make up your time but you also have to before signing on to make up your time if you really can as in is there enough work for you to come on and make up your time.
Quality with the Nuance account matters because TTS will be penalized monetarily if they do not hold up their end, which is I believe 99% or above accuracy. The TAT is also something they are penalized for. These are Nuance rules.
Here's the stinger -- Why not just work for Nuance and cut out the middle man? Why is Nuance even doing this?
One company I worked for with Nuance accounts cannot even get their MTs compliant with the VDI because there are so many issues and Nuance tech help apparently hijacks your computer for hours on end, they are hard to understand due to the language barrier.
So why??? I ask what is in it really for the MTSOs to contract Nuance accounts? It just makes no sense to me.
Also, at any job really, two weeks and you should be good to go. I was taken off QA basically day one but there are audits and especially the lines per hour which is tough when you're only making VBC and you have specs to follow and are scrutinized. You literally need to read every single word on these VR reports because they are messed up that bad.
