Can anyone tell me if becoming a work at home scribe is a viable option nowadays? I see lots of ads where they want to hire at home scribes. Are these jobs in demand? Is this the job that MTs are fleeing to? Now that MModal and Nuance have subsidiaries or whatever you want to call them that do virtual scribing, if you were terminated at either would you be ineligible to become a virtual scribe? (They're different companies now.) Is it a good job? More starvation wages? I'm just so sick of my MT VR job, all they do is pick apart my work, I try so hard, it's starting to take its toll.
