UE goes over everything with a fine tooth comb. They want to know everything about your situation. If they think you have options to make up the time, then they'll probably vote no for UE.
My situation was a lay off/letting me go due to QA errors. UE awarded in my favor because it was basically "I did not knowingly make errors on purpose."
