thefreedictionary.com has both "spike and wave complex" and "spike-and-wave complex," so that's not really helpful. And Wikipedia can be edited by anybody, so it's absolutely not a definitive source. I'm not trying to be difficult; I'm just tired of not knowing exactly how this should be typed. :)
