I don't know that there is an actual list. What I found in my study of companies and the first question I asked was whether or not they took any Nuance work. If they answered "yes", I knew there would be problems. Some companies would not give me a yes or no; so, I just erased them from my list of possibilities.
There were companies that were completely independent from Nuance, but used Nuance based platforms. Each of those companies were very helpful and immediately made it known they had nothing to do with Nuance, that they did all of their own VDI installs. None of those companies ever required or asked me to sign a contract.
I recently signed on with a company that I am very, very happy to be part of, and I am looking forward to working with them.
If you want to email me privately, I will help you if I can. I realize this board can be a bit difficult to navigate, but I think it is because there is so much competition and so many have been tortured by Nuance. I am sure their nerves are raw.
I am a different poster, did not "dodge a bullet" and I will be happy to help you personally if I can. I am sure some of our experiences on this board are similar, but I try to keep in mind that some may have gone through far more than I did with Nuance, and respond accordingly. I would let that post roll of my back. Hard to know what that poster may be dealing with.
