I know with my experience and work ethic that I turned in high quality work. My metrics were always good. I always worked my schedule, and called out sick exactly once in 10 years. I do not see this layoff as a reflection of my competence. Their shady shenanigans over the past few years of finding more and more diabolical ways to reduce our pay show who they really are and what they care about. Every time I heard those same old lines about patient safety and focus on quality I wanted to choke. Focus has always been about quantity and cheating us out of $.
