When you say the tax changes have made - offshoring less attractive financially

They're still offshoring though, right? They just are perhaps making less profit because of a higher tax burden in India?

So they're fishing around for a way to make that all important massive profit margin and are trying this little maneuver by starving us employees of work and shifting the contracts to these Nuance mini-mes.

My question is, are they leaving the option open that they will return the work to us employee MTs, or have they got another escape planned? I just cannot figure out their end game. It seems like they are keeping us employed and giving us no work. Since I personally am working hardly any hours, meaning I am earning nearly full unemployment now despite being supposedly employed by Nuance, I just want them to terminate me so I can fully take advantage of TAA benefits.

They always try to discourage us claiming UE of course, but hard to see how that works anymore. I used to get half my hours, now (if I checked all day like I used to) I would be lucky to work 10 hours a week so partial UE is not deniable by them.

The TAA certification is federal and they don't pay any money into it, I believe, so why would they begrudge us that?

I follow the NUAN stock page not because I understand it or hold any stock (that would be laughable on these wages), but because they have some insights into this company due to their interest in it going up instead of down.

The stock recently plunged a bit, now going up presumably on the basis of VA overhaul contract with Cerner to revamp the medical file system, and Cerner is a Nuance partner. That's what they think anyway.

I still have yet to come up with a theory as to why I am still employed when there is so little work. Any theories on that?
