Because, as it has been proven for many, many years, MM does not give a rat's arse about their employees. Maybe a few managers do, but MM could care less if you were dead or not...they would still want a 2 week notice for you to die!

Because part-timers used to get half the PTO that full-timers did, then MM took that away. So how do you think part-timers get paid for calling in sick? They don't unless they make up the time.

Do you think the CEO and other higher ups are going to pay any of our bills if we don't work?! Hell no, they're not. They get their PTO, parties, etc., etc., while we can't even stop to use the bathroom or get a drink or something to eat without being crawled on the carpet for "inactive time." And you ask why blame MM for a person's decision not to call in sick?!
