Able to take direction from amoral bosses over them with a robotic clone-like devotion.
Insensitive to any and all MT issues.
Able to dodge direct questions on the fly and quickly adopt a company cheerleader attitude to assure the MT that all is well as the "Titanic" sinks.
Know absolutely nothing about MT.
Spew meaningless metrics at the drop of a hat to befuddle the most metric savvy MT into a stupor.
Able to preach the party line ad nauseam and make MTs feel utterly inadequate, while pretending to be "helpful and encouraging."
Be proficient in use of the invisibility cloak so that they can be unavailable when there is no work or system messes up - AGAIN.
They also must show that they are "in touch" by sending emails notifying their staff that they will be enjoying a long vacation weekend off. This is especially gratifying when there is no work while they are "off" and the MT is eating Top Ramen again.
And lest I forget, they must also be able to simultaneously blame the Indian tech support for all the evils of the job while telling the MT to call said tech to resolve all problems.
