and I'll keep saying it - this is the only job I've ever heard of where the more skills you acquire (learning editing and every damn platform under the sun) and being told you are an exceptional employee, the LESS you get paid. Since I began editing a year ago, on top of having to learn different accounts, I find myself barely hanging on to the required LPH metric. It is beyond ridiculous to penalize people who are constantly having to learn new things, look up nit-picky account specifics, research MD names that are not in a hospital database...all these things take time and we are penalized for that? Yes, I ask myself daily why am I willing to accept this treatment?
