I'm wondering if the people giving you a hard time about helping your daughter would say the same if you were helping a friend. She's a grown-up! She needs to do this herself!

Geez, people. If your mom was in the field you were interested in would you not ask her for advice/help?

I wish your daughter the best of luck from a mom who gets it.
