I haven't had a problem with it. I guess the security part of it depends on the method that you use to download or transfer your MP3 file. I use Bytescribe which handles most file formats. I also have an FTP site which is layered with security rather than email to receive my voice files. It depends on the amount of work you are going to be doing for this account to decide which FTP (file transfer protocol) would suit your needs. Hope this helps.
