Nuance

Their transcription division is mainly India driven - and being turned over to them

more and more. Just look at Fiesa and Spark trademarks - all by Nuance India Pvt, Ltd. Email, same thing. If anyone remembers way back, they used to be or have connection with Focus Infomatics, an Indian transcription company. Nuance has been investing millions in their India offices these past few years. They don't hide it either. I remember them gloating in an article in the Atlanta Journal a couple years ago about it. Leaving it mainly offshore probably has a lot of advantages tax-wise, etc. Their transcription division as a whole is just a tiny part of the Nuance corporation, but having it mainly offshore probably ensures it's profitability. Their goal has always been to wind down their domestic workforce and move the majority offshore.
