I was on the 10:00 call, 44 people including me. He never used the words layoff or terminated, but said we'd get 4 weeks severance pay, to which I interpret as permanently terminated. I e-mailed my manager asking if this was immediate as I was covering for 2 people this week and the e-mail bounced back that she no longer worked for Nuance.
