When companies bid for work for a facility they need to come in with the lowest bid and India workers allow companies like Nuance, MM and iMEDX to bid low on work that the little MTSOs with American workers cannot match.
The medical facilities are never going to hire their own staff to transcribe. The cost of employing an American worker is prohibitive and time-consuming.
