Now it appears that OT is back to being - just the regular OT again?

I am on a platform that was always working, although my line count took a hit because of straight typing (very rusty with straight type and tendonitis acted up with the extra hours) and an unfamiliar account.

I think that bonus was the fairest thing they ever offered and it got me working regular hours plus OT.

Let's face it, Nuance standard OT always comes with the threat of FIESA knocking you off the grid so when they calculate the OT it is more often than not time and a half of low cpl, so not worth it.

They should think of doing that straight bonus more often, even flat $100 would be incentive, say this weekend if they want people to do OT.

OT formula for MTs more often than not ends up lowering our pay and canceling out the OT, so a straight $ amount for a clear goal is a true incentive!

I think perhaps the 5 day thing was because most everyone else was being paid though not working, so they wanted to encourage the rest of us (who could) to work our butts off, but I'm not entirely sure. As the other platforms come back up, possibly they will offer this again?

They should definitely offer a similar flat fee bonus if they want to encourage OT. It feels much better than working a lot of hours, finding out you made an error that knocked you off the grid, and then realizing you probably made less than you do in a normal week despite the OT incentive.
