It bored me so badly that each day was a struggle - to stay awake during my shift. (sm) Posted: Jun 20th, 2017 - 3:23 pm In Reply to: Is anyone truly happy or prefers to use speech wreck? - We do it because we have to SM
Working at home, I was chewing on No-Doz all day or drinking lots of coffee. On site, I spent my lunch hours sleeping in my car, even if it was 100 degrees outside.
Editing speech-wreck also ruined my typing speed and accuracy, because you pretty much just sit there, follow the little cursor while listening, and occasionally insert punctuation. I was flabbergasted when I tested for a secretarial job and found my speed had dropped from 82 wpm to 45 wpm.
