Your rate of pay is the same for the entire week and is based on where you fall on the grid. The shift differential does not affect your rate of pay but instead you get extra lines. You multiply your evening lines by 0.1 and get to add those extra lines to your total lines.

Your time card shows:
Day lines: 1000
Day weekend lines: 500
Evening lines: 2000

Adjustments:
Day weekend lines: 50
Evening lines: 200

Total lines: 3750 x 0.09

Make more sense?
