Allegis Transcription? - Curious

Posted: Dec 8th, 2016 - 2:09 pm

Does anyone have any experience working as an IC for Allegis?  I took their test for insurance transcription and passed and now they want to interview me for a position.  I looked them up on Glassdoor and they got fairly good reviews from people who have worked for them, but I wanted to get some more opnions on them.  I do like that they have been around since 1996, so they must be a stable company to have been in business for 20 years.  How are they to work for?  Is insurance transcription difficult to learn?  Is it fairly easy to make decent money there?  I know that it is strictly verbatim, so you need to type every single "Uh," "Um," etc.  That seems like it may be a bit annoying, but I'm sure I could eventually get used to it.  I have been doing medical transcription for the past 15 years, so insurance transcription would be totally new to me.  Any feedback, good or bad, on this company would be greatly appreciated!
