Or even 6 questions at a time. You were already told the manual is online. You need to go read it.
As far as your MTSO "throwing" Shorthand at you, what she very kindly did was give you one of the 2 best expanders on the marked for MTs. (The other being InstantTest.) It is sort of expected that a decent MT would know how to use at least 1 of those when hired and can learn the other without too much trouble if her new MTSO doesn't use the one she's already familiar with. Given the junk passing for expanders incorporated in some platforms people are forced to work on these days, you should be ecstatic at being given an excellent tool like Shorthand instead, not whining like a baby about it.
If you can't manage to even go find the manual for a piece of software and read it, then maybe you're right--McDonald's is probably more your speed. Unless they throw a fryer at you with just the manual to read for it, of course.
