About inactive time - LDSMT

Posted: Oct 14th, 2016 - 2:17 pm In Reply to: Vent - When my line count drops - TiredMMMT

I understand the frustration with line counts dropping because of a lousy job when you feel like you have been doing well, but I am wondering about your comments on inactive time. Maybe I misunderstood but it sounds like you are staying signed in to teamwork while you go change the laundry? If this is so, you are not only upping your inactivity time but this is also affecting your lph. Maybe I am stating the obvious? Your lph for compliance and for your PTO is figured by the amount of lines you do in comparison with the time on your time clock not just the time in Fluency. If you clock out when you leave the computer, you won't have a problem with inactive time, and your lph will be higher than if you don't.

If I misunderstood, I apologize, I get the frustrations, I do, but it sounded like what you are doing to take a break from the frustration was being counterproductive to the cause of frustration. Anytime you are not working and are signed into the clock you are negatively affecting those nitpicky parameters we are plagued with.

We definitely hear more about what we do wrong than what we do right. A little praise now and then can go a long way.
