I, too, became a Nuance employee via a buyout. That was over 2 years ago and here I am still. I have been lucky enough to enjoy the accounts I am on, which happen to be some of the accounts I was on at the time of the buyout. Initially the pay grid that Nuance implemented for all its employees back in 12/2014 actually gave me a boost in income; however, they have recently made changes to the grid, and my pay will directly be affected mainly because Nuance feels the need to take back 10% of my typed lines because of the platform I am on (Emdat Inscribe), so I may not be with the company much longer. I guess I'll see soon.
