I would say that when you leave you have nothing to lose and I wouldn't fantasize about it, I would do it. Put it in writing and cc all of them. I have a similar plan but it doesn't involve doctors or management. I work on site and my plan involves taking down the tattle tales and backstabbers in my office. I had a terrible day yesterday and I'm considering taking one of those call in sick don't show up for work days today. I totally get why people come unglued in the workplace. Sorry, this probably should have gone on the gab board, but I needed to vent. Anyway, to you I would say go for it and I will continue working on my exit plan.
