I also wonder about being an IC in CA. Are there any here on this board? I worked as an IC some years ago for 3 months and it was a nightmare (small company, now out of business). They required I have Worker's comp, it was just me, part time. After that 3 months, they required all ICs to be incorporated or change to employee. Ever since then, I haven't heard of any ICs in CA. I hope some answer. My car may be parked next to yours, I want to move to Arizona, but not sure if I can.
