expected, so I wouldn't be so quick to assume it's time to switch jobs. You lose much more $$ as a QC than you do MLS. I couldn't wait to move back to an MLS position and thank my lucky stars, especially seeing the even lower scale now. Careful what you wish for. Just saying.
