I've been through multiple HDSM/PCs and all say not to leave stuff like that in the QA box. From experience, though, I know some of these trainers are wack. I was an MME for a year before going back to just editing, and, yeah, no reason to put the time stamp in. The audio just jumps to where the marker is.
PC also said not to leave "sl" notes as that puts your interpretation into the MME's head and makes it difficult to hear it from a different perspective. I remember as an MME, if I would see "sl" I would immediately delete the note without reading further as it really does mess with your head.
