Under many circumstances, you can quit and still collect unemployment. Before you quit, go to your state's unemployment office, tell them your situation (take screenshots of the NJA), note times, etc. Ask the employment officer how to proceed before saying anything to the company. It may be that the UE officer will have some good advice for you. Good luck! (I would like to fry all of the MTSOs who overhire and leave people out on a limb like this.)
