That came out to be $1850 a month, which is more than the $1000 or less I was making as an MT. I live in a cheap place, own my 19-year-old car outright, and have a low-income rate on my utility bills. Last month I actually had $200 left over, which I was able to put into savings. That's the first time I've been able to put anything into savings since I started working for an MTSO!
