MTs and MTSOs should read carefully and ask some tough questions. MTSOs: Is it worth the risk of being shut down because of huge penalties? MTs: Are we missing out on pay we should have seen in our check? I honestly believe this issue has contributed to the demise of our industry, resulting in our inability to earn a living wage. It is an unfair playing field for those MTSOs who don't misclassify, and it hurts all of us in the long run with lower rates and decreased pay. Just my opinion, but I appreciate the article, Nicke!
