I am getting a paralegal certificate with an associates in business. I might go ahead and finish my bachelors, I haven't decided yet. It depends on whether I get a job offer before I transfer to a university.
I just met with my paralegal adviser, who developed the program for the school I am going to, and he said my experience as an MT would be very marketable once I have my certificate. He also said that employers are looking for "more mature" employees as they believe they are more loyal and have a better work ethic. The program I am in has a built in internship so we come out with actual legal experience.
I can hardly wait to be out of this profession for good.
