I'm the one who got out 3 years ago. FYI: They use any holiday excuse they can to let you think "it's just the holidays," as the reason there's no work.
Sorry, there's no work because it goes overseas. They'll use Thanksgiving/Christmas and milk that until after New Year. Then they start with spring break, Memorial holiday, 4th of July, Labor Day, etc. They'll tell you it's National Frog Day just to make you think work will pick up again.
