I think the strategy for numbers is--sm - anon

With numbers, it is probably better to still leave a blank because if you do not, it will be a critical error but if QA feels certain that it is 98.3 and you thought 98.8, you have still come out ahead. I worry about things like discrepancies, if you blank it because you thought it was a discrepancy but the QA person just fills it in, then you are stuck with that "error."
