Best headset? - Deaf Old Chick

I have been using Spectra for years, and I am starting to miss things...don't know if it is my ears or the crappy audio I am getting, but I am hoping a change of headset will help. Before I spend $80 on the top end brands, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? I am not really that old...just feel that way.

Anyone feel passionately about this?
