headset - too Posted: Nov 19th, 2015 - 12:52 pm In Reply to: Best headset? - Deaf Old Chick
I too had Bose headsets before. thought they were pricey for the quality of material received. The over the ear pads began to disintegrate in about a year and cannot be replaced. you have to buy a whole new headset and for the cost, I did not think it was worth the price. They weren't that much better than anybody else as far as sound quality.
then i found Klipsch!! Yes... they are costly, but their sound quality is unmatched by any other that i have ever found, including Bose. they got Bose beat all to heck! they cover the ear... are NOT advertised as noise-cancelling, but they are very good at keeping background noise to a minimum. I love my Klipsch so much that i replaced my speakers for my computer with them and bought a sound bar for my TV that is from them, as well. I love the quality of their sound, and I am deaf in my left ear. i have no problems with missing anything! HIGHLY recommend them, but do expect to pay more than $80 for them. good luck.
