That is kind of what I thought. I know I will probably eventually have to transition to full-time editing and was wondering how I was going to support myself. I'm making maybe $8-9 per hour editing right now, but I am new to editing (not transcription). I was wondering how long it takes to get faster and how much the average person really makes editing. You hear stories of really high line counts being possible, but I'm thinking that is probably not the norm. Of course, I get many ESLs and sometimes some pretty bad dictators at times but that seems to be the norm as well these days everywhere. Thanks again for your time. Have a nice day!
